Job Description

Position Overview:

An Administrative Assistant in Logistics is responsible for providing administrative support to the logistics department to ensure efficient operation and coordination of logistics activities. This role involves handling a variety of tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory management, and communication.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Clerical Support: Perform general office duties such as answering phones, taking messages, and directing calls related to logistics operations.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist with the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, including preparing shipping documents and tracking deliveries.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist in ordering and replenishing supplies.
Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage logistics documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders.Scheduling: Arrange and coordinate transportation schedules and appointments with carriers and suppliers.
  • Communication: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations and resolve any issues that arise.
Data Entry: Input data into logistics software systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on logistics activities, inventory levels, and shipment statuses.Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to logistics and shipping.
  • Support for Logistics Team: Provide administrative support to the logistics team and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Qualifications:
Education: College graduate or undergraduate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role within a logistics or supply chain environment is preferred.
  • Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,
  • 00 - Php22,000.00 per month
