Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Procurement
  • Location: Dasmarias, Cavite

  • Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic construction company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the procurement of materials. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement:
Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials, equipment, sub-contractors.
  • Canvass and compare prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Maintain an updated database of suppliers and materials.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all
  • Administrative Support:
Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation.
  • Coordinate with different departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, and organizing files.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments for the management team.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the company.
  • Qualifications:
Highly coachable person with an open mind to learn.
  • Highly proficient in modern technology, highly proficient in using a computer.
High school diploma or equivalent; or a degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, recruitment, or administrative roles, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Highly Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • High sense of responsibility.
