Qualifications:- With valid BOSH/COSH certifications and Safety trainings
with mandatory 40 hours Basic OSH training course, additional 48 hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training.- Has related experiences and competencies in the field
Shows strong leadership and excellent communication skills
- Philippine Red Cross Standard First Aid and BLS is an advantage
OSH 3 Certified- Has a good background in administrative matters (building permit, fire fighting orientation, etc.)
Willing to travel to conduct OSH orientation

The Safety Officer 3 will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive safety programs and initiatives to minimize workplace hazards and prevent accidents. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety regulations and standards, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively influence and engage employees at all levels.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.- Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
Provide guidance and support to departmental safety representatives and committees to promote safety awareness and participation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety activities, including incident reports, training records, and safety meeting minutes.
Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and industry trends, and recommend adjustments to safety programs as needed.- Serve as a resource and point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.
Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies or disasters.
- Collaborate with external agencies, contractors, and vendors on safety-related matters as necessary.
Updates the company's OSH Manual- Conducts OSH Training (latest practices) to all employees
Submit required reports to DOLE (Employer's Work Accident/Injury Report (WAIR); Annual Work Accident/Injury Exposure Data Report (AEDR); the Annual Medical Report (AMR); and OSH Committee Report.)
- Make sure that these reports are updated and properly filed.
- Others that may be assigned by the department head from time to time.
