GrowthAssistant is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst focused on analyzing paid ads creatives and providing insights to improve ad performance. You will be joining the marketing department for an exciting e-commerce industry!

Core Tasks:
- Apply basic marketing concepts such as ROAS, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CPA, and Conversions to analyze and optimize creative performance.
- Ensure accurate data gathering and analysis to generate reliable insights.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making and improve creative performance.
- Strategically evaluate creative outputs to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and areas to avoid.
- Dissect creative elements (messaging, visuals, tone, targeting) to understand audience resonance and inform future ad strategies.
- Conduct industry research, competitor analysis, and market trend studies to inform creative strategies. Use tools like Foreplay to support the creative team by adding relevant trending ads or competitors to the inspiration library.
- Utilize monday.com for self-tracking and project reporting to ensure timely completion of tasks and team visibility.
- Create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports showcasing creative account wins, losses, and potentials using tools like Motion or Northbeam. Understanding ad buying and Meta campaigns is a plus.
- Organize and maintain digital files (creative assets, documents, project briefs) in Dropbox or other cloud-based software for easy access by the creative team.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement tools or systems to improve efficiency, and suggest ways to optimize workflow.
- Perform accurate data entry from platforms such as Shopify, Meta, Google Analytics, and Klaviyo into spreadsheets or database systems.
- Use Excel or Google Sheets to create pivot tables, charts, and trends for basic reporting purposes.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify errors or anomalies in data.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing reports, documentation, and other support tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of proven experience in Data analytics for paid ad campaigns
- Proven experience with data entry tasks, preferably within a marketing or e-commerce environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including creating pivot tables, charts, and using formulas.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing metrics and principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management tools like monday.com.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a remote team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to convey information effectively.
- Ability to work EST 9 am - 5 pm
