Generate various financial reports for EEV as required by (a) regulators, (b) Group Head Office, and (c) management (on ad hoc basis), with acceptable level of quality and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with the UDA policy for the identified UDA files and on customer data security policy.
Prophet/DCS Processing
Ensure the proper set-up and accuracy of the models.
Formulate ways to ensure that quality and accurate data and assumptions are used in reporting.
Prophet/DCS Maintenance and Coding
Oversee the proper implementation of solutions on problems in the Prophet model.
Ensure that the revisions to the models are properly tested for reporting and sensitivity runs.
Reports Generation
Oversee and lead the team for the entire reporting process and ensure the timeliness of the reports.
Spot anomalies and inconsistencies in numbers. Ensure the reasonability, consistency, accuracy of results.
Manage internal and external customers in terms adhering to SLAs and other agreements.
Manage Regional counterparts.
Reports Analysis
Ensure accuracy, validity, and consistency of the report commentaries.
Reports Maintenance
Create new reporting templates/working files for new or ad hoc reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with various MUDA policies.
Problem Solving
Decide on and handle unexpected problems that may arise during reporting
Ensure that reporting processes are at optimum level and suggest ways on how to improve efficiency.
People Management
Delegate tasks as deemed appropriate to promote growth in team members.
Compliance
Ensure that all company policies, procedures, programs and instruction are carried out
Be familiar and understand Pru Life UK Compliance Standards. Must be fully aware of his/her responsibilities and competent to carry them out to the required standards. Must report all compliance matters openly and honestly to their Compliance Officer in accordance with the reporting requirements operated by the Compliance Officer. Must operate a process within his/her department to ensure that all relevant compliance matters are identified and reported.
