Job Description
The opportunity
The
Actuarial Director, NB Analytics & Embedded Value is responsible for leading the company's NBV and IFEV reporting, forecasting and model development. Under this role, he/she will support BAU and ad hoc requests related to NBV, IFEV and New Business Plan, and liaise with distribution team in the implementation of strategies to enhance and optimize these metrics.
Responsibilities
NBV and EV Reporting
- Lead the monthly/quarterly NBV reporting including, but not limited to, regional NBV submissions, Emerging Markets business review, and Distribution & GM scorecards.
- Liaise and provide support on expense allowable planning and forecasting and general expense management
- Lead the annual review of company's IF embedded value.
- Support initiatives related to the above financial metrics.
New Business Planning
- Lead the annual New Business Plan exercise, which includes strategies and projections on topline and bottom line metrics such as APE, NBV, Profit Margin, LROC and others.
- Actuarial support on various business cases relating to new business acquisition
- Other ad hoc initiatives as they materialize

What We Are Looking For
- Graduate of bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics
- Associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines/Society of Actuaries
- At least 5 years of experience exposure with life insurance business and related products. Experience and thorough understanding of life insurance financial metrics and associated risks
- Strong analytical, communication, relationship, and time management skills
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and strong work ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AXIS Actuarial Software (preferably)
