Job Description

Based in Cebu, the Accounts Payable Supervisor will report to the Accounts Payable Manager. You would be a member of our core accounting team, handling all issues related to accounts payable and expenses.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Oversee the day-to-day AP Operations activities;
- Manage the daily workload of the whole team;
- Supervise, direct, and review the work of the account payable staff, maintain the general ledgers and sub ledgers;
- Ensure agreed SLA & KPI are met;
- 2nd level of escalation for issues & concerns from all stakeholders;
- Support ad hoc requests/projects.
- Support all internal and external examiner/audit requests pertaining to Accounts Payable;
- Actively identify areas for improvements to raise effectiveness and efficiency;
- Creates a team environment of accountability and commitment; and
- Administration of the AP staff leave, absences, Attendance & Overtime.
Qualifications
In order to succeed in this role, you have to:
- Have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related major;
- Have at least 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable function with at least 1 yr. supervisory experience;
- Have a high proficiency with MS Excel and specialized financial software;
- Have a good communication skills and teamwork abilities; and
- Be hardworking and motivated with great ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
