As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a vital role in managing invoices, reconciling statements, and processing supplier payments. You'll ensure smooth and accurate AP processes while collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to uphold the integrity and efficiency of the accounting function.

• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) inbox.
  
• Review and validate supplier invoices for uploading and data entry in the system.
  
• Receive and manage supplier invoices, ensuring all approval processes are completed and adhered to.
  
• Process employee expense reimbursements.
  
• Reconcile supplier statements.
  
• Reconcile bank statements.
  
• Prepare supplier payment runs (EFT).
  
• Send remittance advice.
  
• Respond to internal and supplier inquiries and handle escalations.
  
• Set up suppliers, maintain creditor files, and manage credit applications.
  
• Prepare payroll timesheets.
  
• Process credit card transactions and upload receipts.
  
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
  
• Perform other related tasks as required from time to time.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  
• 1-3 years of accounts payable experience
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Keen attention to detail
  
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  
• Proactive mindset and adaptability to evolving business needs
  
• High level of integrity and professionalism
  
• Confident communication skills with a willingness to reach out and ask questions
  
• Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures
