As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring the timely processing of payments owed by the company. Your role will include reviewing and verifying statements, tracking transactions, preparing journal entries, and collaborating with teams to reconcile accounts. Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift (6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Non-DST), (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM DST)

Work setup: Hybrid, Ortigas (onsite, then hybrid once regularized)

Your Ledger of Success

  • Review and verify statements and invoices for payment preparation.
  • Process and pay amounts owed by the company accurately and on time.
  • Track payment and transaction records using applicable systems.
  • Prepare and analyze general ledger accounts as needed.
  • Prepare journal entries for month-end processing.
  • Reconcile bills, balance accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Verify journal entries and compare system reports to general ledger balances.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Receivables team to process and post customer cash payments.
  • Match inventory invoices to packing lists for transaction posting.
  • Assist in gathering financial data for third-party auditors.
  • Respond to internal and external customer queries within appropriate timelines.
  • Align payment of corporate invoices with delegated authority, particularly for client-related purchases.

Requirements

Bring Your Skills to the Table

  • 1 - 3 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree completed or in progress.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Experience with production workflow, and an intimate knowledge of the process from customer order entry to customer invoicing.
  • Experience working with ecommerce channels.
