Job Description
- Prepare and file related tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax) accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized tax records and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Reconcile tax-related accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist on tax refund filing.
- Assist in researching and interpreting tax laws, advising on implications for business operations.
- Support the development of tax strategies and provide guidance to departments on tax-related issues.
- Serve as the primary contact for BIR and other government audits related to tax matters.
- Provide documentation and support to auditors, ensuring timely response to requests. Internal Revenue (BIR), BOI,
- Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
- Monitor and ensure compliance with new tax regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
- Assist in monitoring and processing of related compliances and filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or any related field
- At least 2 to 3 years in tax compliance or accounting, with knowledge of BIR processes and requirements
- Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax laws
- Experience with BIR, SEC, and other government regulatory submissions
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coach and mentor
- Ability to work under pressure.
