As an Accounts Admin Assistant with a focus on accounting support, you will assist in daily office operations and help manage essential administrative tasks. Your role is crucial in supporting the accounting team by ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and aiding in various administrative functions.
Assist in preparing and issuing fee agreements, deposit requests, and invoices.
- Ensure accuracy and follow up with clients to secure necessary documentation.
Support the reconciliation of financial records, including bank accounts and ledgers.- Help identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Manage and organize financial documents, maintaining accurate records and assisting with monthly reporting.
- Process banking transfer requests and issue Trust Account statements, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
Provide general administrative support, such as data entry, checking client visa statuses, and managing client communications.- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for the team.
Act as a point of contact for clients, offering information and assistance as needed, and liaising with internal departments to resolve any issues.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in an administrative role, with a focus on accounting support.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using Xero or any related accounting software is an advantage.
A solid understanding of basic accounting principles is a plus.
