Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for Accounting Supervisor located in Binn City, Laguna, Philippines. The role oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
About the Job:
- Review and process invoices and other financial transactions in accordance with the company's accounting procedures and standards.
- Prepare reconciliation of intercompany accounts, cost analysis, and verification.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit financial reports timely to internal and external stakeholders including BIR
- Assist the Finance Manager in the annual budget process, which involves preparing budget reports and submission to head office.
- Prepare periodic reports to compare actual performance to budget and provide useful analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other departments to offer financial insights that can help improve processes or decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with auditors during annual audits.
- Participate in management's special projects and initiatives
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals.
Required Skill(s):
- Proficient in Accounting Software (Microsoft D365/SAP and HFM is a plus)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficient in other MS Office
- Excellent analytical with problem-solving skills and a team player
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills, both written and verbal communication
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, must have a strong sense of responsibility
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Professional License and must be aCertified Public Accountant.
- With minimum 5 years accounting experience in General Accounting and Finance (preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry), including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Candidate must be residing near Laguna Technopark Incorporated (LTI) or willing to relocate to the City of Bian Laguna.
