Frabelle Cold Storage Corporation operates full service cold storage facilities which are strategically located near major ports and highways within the Greater Metropolitan Area. It caters to food manufacturers, processors, traders, and restaurants, ensuring their valued inventory ranging from fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat, poultry, and processed food products are kept fresh and in excellent condition.
Frabelle's cold storage plants are equipped with freezer and chiller storage, air blast freezers which are capable of freezing goods in less than four hours, reefer van plug-in facilities, and leasable processing areas. Its combination of free stacking and mobile racking systems, along with a customized program for stock control, tracking and documentation allow for quick and efficient stock receiving and retrieval.
As its Accounting Supervisor, you will be tasked to:
- Manage and coordinate all external reports and activities including Income Statements, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flow, Notes to Financial Statements, Supplementary Reports and others.
Assist in formulating projections for expansion and future direction.- Monitor banking activities and maintain banking relationships.
Represent the company for all tax matters consisting of requirements, assessments, reconciliations and supporting documents.
- Develop performance measures that support strategic decisions.
Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies such as payment and/or filing of returns, contributions, certificates, forms, remittances, General Information Sheet and others.- Ensure that the company complies with tax, legal and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations, as well as Financial Statements for management's use.
- Manage financial reports to the Finance Committee.
Monitor cash balances and cash projections.- Maintain relations with auditors and examine their findings and recommendations.
Oversee requisition, canvass sheet and procurement activities.
- Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the company's needs.
Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, advances, deposits and other accounts to ensure efficient collection, proper disbursement and recording.- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions.
Control capital request and funding processes.
- Enhance the overall company transaction processing systems.
Administer payroll and maintains employee salary, incentive, taxes, loans, advances and contributions records.- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting financial position and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
Deals with local and national government staff or officers for particular purposes.
- Ensure governmental and non-governmental agencies requirements, permits, licenses, certificates and receipts are updated.
Utilize contracts of lease representing the company as lessor or lessee.- Oversee historical reference by managing filing and retrieval systems of official and internal records as well as current documents.
Utilize a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets, databases and other applications.
- Oversee the maintenance and communication of records required by law or other companies in the group.
