ACCOUNTING STAFFResponsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company's reports and statements.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
Organize and update financial records
Maintain and update accounting records and files
Analyze budgets and create expense reports
Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses)
Reconcile bank statements
Conduct month-end and year-end closures
Enter accounting related information into business logs
Ensure that all cash and check disbursement are properly liquidated and recorded; verifying documentation.
Monitor and update the transactions in BIR Books.
Maintain and update all Financial Statement Report.
Bachelors/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business Administration or equivalent; with at least 1-2 years work experience in accounting/finance and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting
Knowledge of an accounting information system is a plus
