It is the role of this position to ensure the timely and adequate recording, classifying and summarizing of accounts in relation to company operations and procedures, ensuring compliance to the general accounting principles.
The position also performs a wide variety of administrative support, technical accounts processing and financial recording duties and responsibilities. Its main function is to prepare and implement accounts processing procedures and assists operating departments.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management or any other business-related course
- Preferably at least 2 years-experience in general accounting practice
- Experience in handling receivables and payables is an advantage
- Strong attention to details and high level of organizational skills
- Flexible, can multitask
- Familiar with BIR taxation and other government regulations
- Has experience using accounting systems
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other electronic spreadsheet software
