Qualifications
Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting or Financial Management, or a related course.
Preferably with experience in bookkeeping and general compliance experience.
Well-versed in QuickBooks and other Accounting software for posting.
Knowledgeable in cheque vouchers and cheque preparations.
Responsibilities
Perform General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, and preparing account/bank reconciliations;
Perform finance analysis, reporting & management tasks;
Oversee the validation of transactions and verification performed by outsourced bookkeeping services.
Prepare payments, and bank transfers and do the bank transactions as needed.
Produce periodic financial reports and other financial documents.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end closure of accounts, including bank reconciliation, and submit reports to the CEO as per prescribed deadlines.
Ensure account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately and timely
Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial related issue
Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining audit-compliant internal financial controls.
