Accounting Specialist (Remote)

Role Overview

ECOM CPA is seeking a talented Accounting Specialist to join our fast-growing, remote team!

What You'll Do

• Import bank statements / Paypal statements into Xero on a weekly basis.
• Code and record weekly transactions for all clients in Xero.
• Complete bank reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, and flux/variance analysis.
• Prepare a packet of supporting statements and reports for the Staff Accountant.
• Ensure all accounting processes are streamlined and automated as much as possible.
• Answer client questions or facilitate finding the answers.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• 3+ years of experience with accrual-based accounting
• 2+ years experience with Xero and QBO software
• Experience with Karbon is a big plus
• Experience in the e-commerce space highly preferred
