Job Description
As the IFRS 16 accounting specialist you will be responsible for supporting the Group Reporting team in overseeing the overall compliance and reporting for IFRS 16 across multiple entities within the Group and for the technical administration of the Group's IFRS 16 tool. This role combines system administration expertise with lease accounting expertise, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with the Group's lease accounting processes. Operating from our service center in Manilla, you will be also supporting the Group Reporting team in Berlin in execution of internal controls, providing technical support and guidance on IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Responsibilities and duties
- Administer and maintain the Group's IFRS 16 tool system, including user access, system configurations, and updates.
- Oversee data accuracy within the tool system, ensuring leases are correctly recorded, processed, and maintained in alignment with IFRS 16.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with IT and software support teams as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact for IFRS 16 tool support, addressing user queries on data entry, system usage, and report generation.
- Execute regular internal controls to ensure leases are correctlyrecorded, processed, and maintained in alignment with IFRS 16
- Support the Group Reporting team in preparation of the disclosures in Annual Report
3. Skills and preferred qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in audit, accounting or finance (preferred with a focus on IFRS standards)
- 1+ year of experience working with financial systems, ideally with experience in Tagetik or similar financial reporting tools
- Hands-on experience with lease accounting or IFRS 16 compliance would be preferred.
- Experience supporting multiple business units or entities in a centralized service environment is an advantage
- Big 4 experience is an additional advantage
Technical Skills:
- Strong MS Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data integration processes is a plus
- Familiarity with IFRS 16 lease accounting standards and requirements
- Familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation processes in a multinational environment
- Familiarity with the Tagetik platform, particularly in relation to lease accounting and IFRS 16 functionalities is a great advantage
- Fluent English - both oral and written
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users of various technical backgrounds
- Solid time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a multi-entity environment.
