Job Description

Equicom Services, Inc. is urgently looking for Accounting Assistant who are willing for onsite set-up.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of Accountancy or any Business and Finance related course.
With at least 6 months relevant work experience.
  • Good communications skills both written and verbal.
High attention to details and with sense of urgency.
  • Must be highly organized.
Has a good grasping power and can work with minimal supervision
  • Very good interpersonal skills and willing to collaborate with other departments.
Proficient in MS Excel Spreadsheet and Word Processing
  • Basic knowledge in Taxation, payable process.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Assists the Accounting team in the preparation of various presentations, reports and analyses required by the Management.
Collect and process data from other departments, summarize and analyze financial transactions and prepare appropriate accounting entries.
  • Document financial transactions accurately, compile supporting documents, and ensure completeness of financial documents.
Prepare monthly general ledger to sub-ledger reconciliation of assigned accounts and provide accurate movement analysis and other relevant information related to the accounts.
  • Reconciliation of various Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts
Submit all required reports in compliance with finance closing timelines
  • Ensure consistent implementation of accounting policies and help communicate these policies to other concerned departments
Process disbursement and prepare related documents related to Final Pay, training allowances, government obligations and other employee related transactions.
  • Provide monthly reports related to disbursements such as aging and monitoring of payables
Assist payroll team in validation of disputes and reconciliation of payroll accounts and annualization process
  • Assist in payroll in validation of manpower vendor billings
Validation of incentive claims across all campaigns/services based on existing policies
  • Performs assignment related to financial and management reporting that may be assigned from time to time
