Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships in compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations.
Manage BAS (Business Activity Statements), IAS (Instalment Activity Statements), and GST reporting.
Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies to optimize clients tax positions.
Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including payroll tax, FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax), and superannuation.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of relevant tax changes.
Support clients with tax-related queries and provide exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Australian tax accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software such as XERO, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations, including income tax, GST, and FBT.
Experience with tax preparation and lodgment for various entities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
