Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a regular basis, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. This involves recording income and expenses, reconciling bank statements, and managing payroll.- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance.
Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts by gathering and analyzing financial data. Monitor budget performance and report on variances.
- Support external audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that may affect the organization.
- Qualifications/Requirements
A graduate of Accountancy or equivalent- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office or SAP
Strong attention to detail ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Organize, presentable, and efficient.- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and act with integrity in all aspects of work.
Adaptive to industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance
