Job Purpose
- Reporting to the Country Management Accountant, EMEA or APAC with responsibility for accounting matters of local entities in EMEA and APAC from a commercial and financial perspective, and disciplinarily reporting to local management.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
The Primary Indicators Will Be
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L, cash flow of entities with local tax compliances.
Job Duties
- Prepare and process financial and cost accounting monthly eg. AR, AP, GL for the entities assigned.
- Deliver efficient month end processes and efficiency in closing the assigned entities, achieving the Group deadlines and requirements.
- Work with the external auditors, Group auditors, and tax advisors on the year end requirements
- Maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies.
- Working closely with the operations teams in analysing variances and cost analysis
- Coordinate reporting requirement with the group headquarter to meet internal deadlines.
- Manage Treasury for the assigned entities, ensuring good relationship with local banks, coordinate with group on monthly funding.
- Proficient in Advance Excel and MS Outlook
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
- 2 years or above working experience (less experience will be considered for Associate)
- Experience working in a multi-national company is preferred.
- Experience in APAC or EMEA indirect tax filing and reports
- Experience in Promotion or Premium Industry is an advantage.
- Computer skills: Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge and experience of ERP ie. SAP, Microsoft 365
- 2 years working experience in full set of accounting.

- Confident self-starter with the ability to act on own initiative, multi-task and meet challenging deadlines.
- Experience working with external advisors (audit, tax) is preferred.
- High levels of energy and motivation with a strong track record of delivery in previous roles
- Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross functionally including with non-financial teams.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
