Maintaining and updating financial records including sales, purchases, receipts and payments- Reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns
Preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal guidelines
- Reviewing and implementing financial policies
Preparing budget forecasts and managing organizational budgeting and reporting- Conducting internal audits and liaising with external auditors
Processing invoice payments and tracking company expenses
- Ensuring financial information is organized and accessible
Monitoring financial transactions and reports- Processing accounts payable and receivable
Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest financial trends and regulations
Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts
- Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met
Supervise or monitor purchasing personnel on their purchasing activity- Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs
Analyze market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities
- Help management make financial decisions
Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations- Prepare and maintain important financial reports
Prepare tax returns and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time
- Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting or collection procedures, or investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, or other financial control functions.
Proven work experience as an Accounting Officer, Accounting Supervisor or Accounting Officer
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
Organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics- Experience in a Chinese Restaurant/Company is a plus but not required
