As an Accounting Manager
, you are responsible for overseeing the accounting team's daily work. Ensure that all financial and accounting operations will run smoothly. Oversee and review the work of accountants, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including but not limited to month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, check runs, and other accounting activities.- Hiring, training, and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.
Provide recommendations, improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Establish and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactionsEnsuring that all major projects, activities and reports are completed accurately and on time.- Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) but not required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (BSA)
With 5 to 8 years
of total working experience in the Accounting field3 to 5 years
of experience in a Managerial/Supervisory role
or similar capacity. Competent in handling bookkeeping and accounting operations
- Can perform assessment and review of operational concerns.
Can recommend continuous improvements of existing processes.- Sound knowledge of various accounting operations, principles, standards, practices, laws and regulation
Good communication skills - written & verbal
