Job Description:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Provide detailed financial analysis to management, offering insights into company performance and recommendations for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards.

- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with the company's strategic goals.

- Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and advising corrective measures.

- Work closely with other departments to ensure budgetary control and efficient resource allocation.

- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to shipbuilding, repair projects, and offshore structure conversions.

- Oversee tax filings, audits, and financial compliance with government regulations.

- Implement cost-effective accounting and financial practices to optimize profitability.

- Develop strategies to minimize financial risk, including currency and cost fluctuations within marine engineering projects.

- Collaborate with project managers to track project costs, ensuring all expenditures are within budget.

Requirements:

- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
