Job Role: Accounting Manager Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department.
Training and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.
Managing the company's financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions and perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.
Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
Present recommendations to business stakeholders.
Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (e.g. CPA, CMA) license is preferred but not required.
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least some experience in managerial position.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles is preferred.
Knowledge of restaurant-specific financial metrics.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye on details for accuracy.
High level of integrity and ethics.
Ability to handle sensitive information.
