Job Description Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare Accounting and Financial reports used by the client and recommend improvements if required.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Maintain accounts and Ledger, prepare and maintain pertinent financial and accounting data pertaining to billing, reconciliation, collection of accounts and impounds.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial matters.
Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors.
Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
Handle ad-hoc financial projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Clear evidence of Senior Accountant experience
Management experience is a plus
Experience working in a retail and manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Odoo and Quickbooks is a plus.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
