An
Accounting Intern typically supports the accounting department with various tasks and responsibilities. Here's a general overview of what you might expect:
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets. This includes recording transactions, updating ledgers, and maintaining accurate records.
Assisting with Reports:
Help prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Interns might also assist in compiling data for monthly, quarterly, or annual reports.Reconciling Accounts:
Aid in reconciling accounts by comparing and verifying financial statements and records. This involves checking for discrepancies and ensuring that all transactions are accounted for.Supporting Audits: Assist in the preparation for audits by organizing documentation and providing necessary information to auditors. Interns may help review compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Preparing Invoices: Help in the preparation and processing of invoices for clients or vendors. This includes ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Assisting with Budgeting:
Support the budgeting process by gathering data, updating budget spreadsheets, and helping with financial analysis.Filing and Documentation:
Organize and maintain financial documents, ensuring that all records are filed correctly and are easily accessible.Handling Correspondence: Assist with handling financial correspondence, such as responding to inquiries from clients or vendors and communicating with other departments.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties as needed, such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, or preparing presentations.
Studying BS in Accounting, Financial Management, or any related program.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.- Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Student's signed Curriculum Vitae/ Resume
- Signed School Endorsement
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by the authorized school representative.- Notarized written consent with valid ID from his/her parents or legal guardian. (_Waiver shall not be allowed_).
Copies of the following school documents:
a. A scanned copy of the School Identification Card
b. Proof of School Registration/ Enrollment with Class Schedule (Current Semester)
Qualified students may choose the Corporate office location where they are willing to be assigned.
