The Accounting & Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial activities and accounting operations. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, extensive knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, and strong leadership skills to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial processes. This role is integral to the daily operations of the Accounting & Finance division and provides crucial support to other departments.
Direct, supervise, and assess the performance of the Accounting & Finance Division staffs- Provide assistance and guidance on day-to-day matters within the division, ensuring smooth operations
- B. BUDGET AND COST MANAGEMENT
Manage daily, weekly, and annual financial projections- Allocate funds efficiently, prioritizing payments according to organizational needs
Review and validate bank transactions, PCVs, and utilization of funds
- Monitor and assess incurred expenses, payment deadlines, and supplier relations
Conduct regular reviews of check payments processed by the Accounts Payable Staff to maintain accuracy and compliance
Preparation of Monthly and Annual Financial Statements and Notes- Weekly Reports on budget, status of receivables and progress billings
Provide internal reports as needed by other department and management
- Income and Expense Report and analysis
Monitoring and review project costing and compliance- Coordinate with external auditors for Annual Audit
File Tax Returns and review supporting documents and required attachments, including Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes (Compensation and Expanded), and DST- Timely filing of Audited Financial Statements to BIR and SEC
Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial and legal records of the company
- Filing requirements for SEC, DOLE, BIR, and other regulatory agencies as necessary
Process semi-monthly payroll for all employees and distribute payslips
- Facilitate the annual filing of Income tax Returns (2316)
Filing and payment of Government Deductions (SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth)- Prepare certifications for internal and external use
Safeguard and review employment contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with BIR and DOLE regulations
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required
5-6 years of experience in Accounting, or 1-2 years in a similar role- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
Experience with ERP Financial Systems is an advantage
