Overview: As an Accounting Staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions within the organization. Working closely with the accounting team, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
Financial Record Maintenance:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Organize and file financial documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping regulations.Transaction Processing:
Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Handle accounts receivable transactions, including issuing invoices, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including expenses, revenue, and payroll entries.Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
- Compliance and Audit Support:
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.- Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting deadlines are met.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, such as answering inquiries, filing paperwork, and assisting with special projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
