As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for supporting Accountants in handling company payables, billing, and collection.

Aid in resolving discrepancies, aging accounts receivable, and reconciliation.

  • What You Will Do:
  • Reviews accuracy and correctness of all accounting entries on disbursement vouchers, journal vouchers, and petty cash replenishment.
Reviews aging of accounts payable/receivable and ensures that internal control policies are strictly implemented.
  • Consolidate month-end reports.
Reviews general ledger account and inventory reconciliations to ensure that all reconciling items are resolved timely.
  • Verifies that petty cash receipts are timely and accurately applied to outstanding cash advance vouchers and unapplied/unallocated receipts are resolved in a timely manner.
Update and maintain checklists in accordance with the schedules.
  • Review and analyze variance schedules and chargeback before issuance to the concerned parties.
Participate in month-end inventory.
  • Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  • What You Will Need for This Role:
  • At least 1 year of basic accounting experience preferably in the Food, Retail, or FMCG Industry.
Solid understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping, accounting payable principles, and general accounting procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Intermediate or above proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
  • You know you are the perfect fit if you are:
  • Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / BS Accounting, CPA is an advantage but not required
Auditing experience an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical and evaluation skills with attention to detail.
  • Can work well under pressure and with minimum supervision
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

  • 00 - Php25,000.00 per month

  • Monday to Friday

  • Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
