Job Summary:
This is an onsite setup that will be based in Paraaque. Responsible for managing and optimizing the accounts receivable processes across multiple segments, including wholesale, supermarket, online, and invoicing. This role involves ensuring timely collection of payments, addressing client inquiries, and performing regular audits to maintain accuracy and compliance. The associate will also process credit term requests, implement innovative AR processes, and reconcile payments and expenses for various business units. Additionally, the role supports invoicing activities by preparing, encoding, and printing invoices.
Key Responsibilities & Job Description:
- Ensure timely payment collection from wholesale clients by following up and sending updated Statements of Account (SOA).
- Address and troubleshoot payment inquiries from clients, monitor bank transfer payments, and conduct weekly/monthly audits of wholesale accounts.
- Process requests for increasing credit terms, send demand letters, and implement innovative Accounts Receivable processes in the wholesale segment.
- Monitor and analyze Accounts Receivable and expenses for the supermarket segment, follow up on collections, and generate related reports.
- Audit and verify remittances and reconciliation reports from third-party logistics partners and ensure accuracy in company bank accounts.
- Assist in disbursing payments to delivery riders and reconcile payouts from online platforms (Lazada, Grab, Pickaroo, Metromart, Shopify) with company bank accounts.
- Support the preparation, encoding, and printing of invoices, including those for countering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role, preferably with exposure to wholesale, supermarket, and online segments.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
