We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accounting Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting function while also contributing to our customer relationship management efforts. You will leverage your strong accounting skills to ensure accurate financial records, while also utilizing your CRM expertise to manage customer data, track sales opportunities, and generate insightful reports.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and deposits.- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
Assist with payroll processing and tax reporting.
- Enter and maintain accounting data in our accounting software.
Manage customer data within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)- Track sales opportunities and pipeline within the CRM system.
Generate reports from both the accounting software and the CRM system.
- Utilize Google Forms to collect data from customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure data accuracy.- Provide excellent customer service and support to our accounting department and other departments as needed.
Requirements- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Familiarity with a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Experience with Google Forms or similar data collection tools a plus.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
