JOB SUMMARY :The project accounting assistant's role is primarily to assist the project accountant/analyst in payment process. From time to time, he/she is required to perform such other duties to support other responsibility of the superior.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of accounts payable voucher endorsed to accounting department by ensuring the following:
Invoice date for supplier is within the quarter where VAT is claimed
Correctness of GL account used particularly for input VAT and payable accounts
Correctness of amount endorsed for payment by performing recomputation.
Purchases of materials are matched to purchase order, delivery receipts and invoices
Correctness of project charging
Appropriateness of withholding tax used
Payments to subcon were approved by the AMs and QAQC
Transaction being paid is due
Subcon billing are based on actual accomplishment
Proper deductions to subcons are considered
Submits all hardcopy of documents before 12nn of Wednesday
Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
