Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
With atleast 2 years of experience as Accounting Assistant Manager or related- Willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Financial Reporting
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Generate regular financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends
General Ledger Management- Supervise and participate in the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
Budget and Forecasting
- Collaborate with the Accounting Senior Manager in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasting
Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to support decision-making
Compliance and Auditing- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal policies
Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support
Tax Compliance
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
Analyze financial data to identify areas for potential tax savings or risks- Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities
Maintain accurate and organized documentation to support tax filings
Team Management
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency
Process Improvement- Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations and work towards implementing best practices
Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial policies and procedures
Payroll Processing
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing activities, including data entry, verifying timesheets, and calculating wages
Ensure accurate and timely distribution of payroll or direct deposits to employees- Ensure compliance with tax laws, wage and hour laws, and other relevant regulations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records
- Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate processing of employee benefits and deductions
Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with other departments, such as finance. human resources, and operations, to ensure accurate and timely exchange of financial information
Participate in cross-functional projects as needed
