Role Overview:The General Accounting Assistant General Ledger (GL) is responsible for recording, preparing accounting entries, analysis of accounting transactions, and preparation of various financial reports to come up with the Monthly Financial Statement. They are generally responsible for the preparation of the basic steps in the Accounting Cycle.
- Review supporting documents to record the daily accounting transactions in the books of the company.
Generates the daily accounting summary transactions and submits them to the Accounting Supervisor for review.- Does analysis and reviews of various documents to ensure their completeness, correctness, and timely recording in the books
Safeguards permanent files, monitors completeness, and ensures that all the reportorial requirements are updated.

- For BIR Remittances or Payments
Submit all required Returns using the eBIR System (Manual Payment) and EFPS (for eGov Payment
- Scan all records and supporting documents, and update the monitoring sheet.
Responsible for submission of all required tax returns using eBIR System (Manual Payment) and EFPS (for eGov Payment)- Ensures completion of VAT Relief, Summary of Alpha list of Withholding Taxes (Clients and Suppliers).
Maintain and file proof of filing and payment of BIR Returns/Transactions.
- Prepare a response Letter for LA received from BIR. Prepare reconciliation, and schedules, and collate other documents that will support the letter.
Assist with Annual Renewal of Permits and/or Registration. Prepare necessary documents that will be needed before the expiry date.- Must Maintain a Monitoring Sheet on all registration esp. government agencies (e.g. BIR, local government, BOC, etc.).
Monitors and ensures timely filing of GIS and GFFS
- Assist and Ensure Filing of Annual Income Tax Return (1702RT).
Safeguards permanent files, monitor completeness and ensure that all the reportorial requirements are updated.- Assist Annual Filing of Employee ITR Form 2316 - for submission to BIR
Assist with Annual Inventory Filing. Secure to file on or before the due date.
- Prepare required documents for account opening, business registration, issuance of permits and licenses, etc.
Coordinates with consultants, law firms, and/or corporate secretaries any requirements from government agencies or banks that should need a secretary's certificate.- Provides recommendations for system improvement and process procedures.
Compliance and Procedures, guidelines, and policies and perform another task that may be assigned from time to time.
