Provide administrative support for the organization by running reports, handling information requests, and performing a variety of accounting and clerical functions.
Proven work experience as an Accounting Administrator or similar role
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
Good organizational and time-management abilities
- BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
Basic understanding of General Ledger accounts and proper project cost coding
- Ability to troubleshoot potential errors in coded invoices, expense statements, and other accounting transactions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office- Ability to electronically organize and maintain files
Maintain and update the status of accounts payables.- Provide efficient client services and provide support to administration staff.
Assist audit activities.
- Prepare, send, and store the record of invoices on time.
Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets.- Analyze the transactions with financial policies and procedures.
Maintain and manage monthly journals, update entries, and maintain sub-ledger.
- Prepare documents for management approval
Complete cost adjustments upon request- Support the Project Administration team with pay applications and other accounting functions
