Shall be responsible in performing general accounting activities, including the preparation, analyzing, and recording of accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records. Shall be accountable for delivering efficient and effective operations of R2R processes in scope to high quality standards that meet/ exceed key objectives and service levels.
Accountabilities:
GENERAL LEDGER
Preparing and recording of journal entries
Monitoring of the close process at unit and company levels
Reviewing and analysis of account and unit-level trial balances
Performing reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and related bank statements
INTERCOMPANY ACCOUNTING
Settlement of Intercompany transactions
Perform Balance confirmation and Mismatch Analysis
Transfer Pricing
FIXED ACCOUNTING
Recording of newly acquired fixed assets (tangibles and intangibles)
Recording of depreciation
Accounting for the disposition of fixed assets
EXTERNAL REPORTING
Performing record retention archiving and audit support specific to accounting and external reporting
Researching of local and international accounting issues and briefing of new pronouncements
Month-End Reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related course
Experience with ERPs (e.g. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft); ); PC proficient strong experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced excel skills a plus), Word, PowerPoint; experience with MS Access and Project a plus
Logical thinker who constantly thinks of process improvements
Good documentation skills
Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting; able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Good interpersonal skills; and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
