Job Description

Job Overview:

The Accounting Administrator is responsible for managing the financial administration and accounting processes for NCSPI, including bookkeeping, tax filings, and compliance with local tax regulations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role involves handling all aspects of financial management, processing payments, and preparing financial reports. The Accounting Administrator ensures timely reporting to stakeholders and coordinates with government agencies to support business operations and compliance requirements.
  • Responsibilities:
Overall responsible for financial administration for NCSPI.
  • Serves as petty cash custodian.
Performs end to end accounting process for NCSPI.
  • Ensures timely payment for renewal of business permits and other government permits/licenses to ensure continuous operation of the Company.
Maintains NCSPI's book of accounts.
  • Monitor and facilitate payment of expenses for NCSPI including but not limited to disbursement on supplier invoices, employee accounts, government payables, etc.
Prepare financial documents such as invoices, monthly tax reports/filings, other government mandatory contributions and monthly Profit & Loss reports.
  • Prepares working paper and performs electronic filing and payment for BIR dues such as withholding tax on compensation, expanded withholding tax, fringe benefits, quarterly VAT, quarterly and annual corporate income taxes, and other applicable taxes.
Prepares all required attachments required to be submitted to BIR.
  • Prepares BIR form 2307 for suppliers.
Provides monthly reports to all stakeholders including required schedules such as Bank Reconciliations, lapsing schedule, etc.
  • Personally appear before local government agencies (SEC, BIR, LGU, etc.) when required.
Assists in preparation of budget and rolling forecasts.
  • Assists in handling BIR and external audits.
Assists in the documentation for VAT refund claims.
  • Such other functions and duties as may be objectively assigned to their capacity.
  • Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge of local tax regulations.
Methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at any level.
Ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong organisational skills, as well as time management.
