Job Overview: The Accountant will play an integral role in performing full cycle accounting processes, ensuring the precise reporting of financial results, and supporting operations and sales teams with valuable reporting tools. Key Responsibilities
- Execute weekly vendor payment check runs.
- Manage the day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement closing processes, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate and review the Company's expense reporting system and process reimbursements.
- Process non-inventory vendor invoices efficiently.
- Generate accurate and timely monthly management reports.
- Support year-end audits, tax preparations, 1099 reporting, and ensure compliance with ad hoc requirements.
- Review and analyze sales, operational, and financial data to create meaningful reports.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of internal control structures and processes.
- Assist with operations projects aimed at gaining efficiencies to support company growth.
- Handle state registrations and tonnage reporting.
- Fulfill various ad hoc reporting requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Minimum 4+ years experience in an accounting role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience using NetSuite is a plus.
- Experience working with U.S based client is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong grasp of financial statements and standard accounting principles.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel, with a demonstrated ability to seek out innovative technological solutions for processes and reporting.
- Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing, organizing, and planning efficiently.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
