We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. This role requires a solid understanding of financial management principles and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and analyze financial statements: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
- Financial management: Monitor and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, to maintain the company's financial health.
Budgeting and forecasting:
Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor performance against these benchmarks.Compliance and audit support:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Assist with internal and external audits.Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to management based on findings.
Month-end and year-end closing:
Assist in the closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.Documentation and record-keeping:
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both in physical and digital formats.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience:
2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial management and financial statement preparation.Technical skills:- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Attention to detail: High level of accuracy in preparing and analyzing financial data.
Communication skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.Certifications (preferred):
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or similar certification is an advantage. Must be amenable to work onsite (Binondo)
