- Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial processes, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll processing, super guarantee charges calculation, bookkeeping and accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, business activity statements lodgement, and annual tax returns and lodgement. Payroll Processing
: Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and correct payments.Super Guarantee Charges Calculation
: Calculate and process superannuation guarantee charges for all eligible employees.Bookkeeping and Accounts Reconciliation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records; reconcile accounts regularly to ensure financial accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
Business Activity Statements Lodgement
: Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) in accordance with ATO requirements.Tax Returns and Lodgement
: Prepare and lodge annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations. Reply queries of Therapy Point Employees in relation of payroll, holidays and sick leave
- Processing of reimbursement and travel kilometres.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the healthcare or therapeutic services industry.
- Sound knowledge of the Australian tax system and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant accounting qualifications (CPA or CA certification is a plus).
