We are currently looking for a Licensed Accountant who will stay on top of all Accounting-related transactions, tasks, reports and affairs.
Position Overview:
As an Accountant at High Scale, you will be integral to our financial operations, ensuring our accounting practices are up to standard and our financial planning is accurate and insightful. This role demands a detail-oriented professional adept at managing multiple financial tasks, from interpreting financial statements to handling tax returns. Your focus will be on maintaining financial stability, compliance, and efficiency within the company.
Compensation: $1200/month
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in financial management, preferably within professional services, and familiar with U.S. corporate financial operations. Prior experience with companies generating over $10m in annual revenues is desirable.
- Certification: Certified Accountant status is required
- Education: A degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable institution
- Financial Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, planning, and effective cost management.
- Tax and Financial Statement Literacy: Proficient in interpreting financial statements and managing tax obligations.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
- Independence and Multitasking: Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Interpret financial statements to provide insights that support business decisions.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping Compliance: Ensure all financial operations comply with accounting standards and manage bookkeeping effectively.
- Tax Management: Prepare and file tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Vendor Payments and Invoicing: Oversee timely payments to vendors, process invoices, and employ cost control measures to optimize financial health.
- Financial Planning Support: Contribute to financial analysis and planning efforts, aiding in the company's strategic financial direction.
