About the role
We are seeking an Accountant to join our team at Krones Filipinas, Inc. in our Taguig City office. This full-time role will be responsible for a wide range of financial accounting and reporting duties to support the overall success of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow reports
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Performing month-end and year-end accounting tasks, such as reconciliations, accruals and deferrals
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and other financial analyses
- Supporting the implementation of effective financial controls and procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
What we're looking for
- Degree in Accountancy or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices and regulations
- Knowledge in SAP Business One
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
