The Accountant is responsible for handling the General Ledger of his/her assigned entity, analyzing and recording financial information to ensure transactions are accounted for in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures ensuring accuracy and fair presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Statements preparing reports and providing initial responses to inquiries by the internal and external auditors and government regulatory agencies.
