The role requires strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. The role is expected to have regular and independent communication with management, peers in finance and other functions/business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings, payments, bank uploads, finance logs, and report generation.
- Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies.
- Execute month-end closing activities, involving journals, forecasting, and analysis.
- Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
- Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any accounting related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience is required for this position
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks)
- Must be willing to work on a fixed AU shift, Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
- Must be willing towork onsite in our office at IBM Plaza Eastwood Libis, Quezon City
