As an Accountant, you'll be at the core of our client's financial health, managing the intricacies of financial reporting and projections across departments. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial and management reports, consolidating budgets, ensuring tax compliance, and providing invaluable support for finance-related queries. Financial & Management Reporting

• Prepare timely financial and management reports, accurately reflecting the financial standing and performance of operations
  
• Assist in preparing and consolidating annual budgets and projections across all divisions and departments
  
• Review profit & loss statements on a monthly basis
  
• Conduct job costing analyses
  
• Review transactions to ensure accuracy
  
• Coordinate and prepare tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting (income tax returns, BAS, FBT, state payroll taxes)
  
• Coordinate and prepare annual returns for state workers compensation coverage
  
• Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures
  
• Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement
  
• Liaise with the business to address finance-related queries
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
  

Self-Management

• Ensure quality, timely, and accurate output that supports the achievement of the company's strategic and operational plans
  

Requirements

The Right Fit for Financial Finesse!

• CPA license preferred
  
• Minimum of 3 years experience in financial and management/corporate reporting
  
• Experience with Australian clients is an advantage, but not required
  
• Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
  
• Proficient in MS Excel
  
• Working knowledge of Xero is an advantage, but not required
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  
• Professional and proactive attitude
  
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  
• Strong organizational skills with a solid understanding of finance processes
  
• Ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people
  
• Punctual, dependable, flexible, and adaptable to work demands
