Duties and Responsibilities: Designs effective budget models for departments and the entire company
- Analyzes financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget
Reviews budget requests for approval and forecast future budget needs- Reviews cooperative's budget for compliance with legal regulations
Designs and implements effective budgeting policies and procedures
Monitors and manages the organization's bank relationship and liquidity
- Forecasts medium and long-term funding and hedging requirements
Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies
- Financial Risk Assessment
Provides financial input to long-term strategic plan development- Oversee contract management, lease agreements, and contractual policies and procedures as needed
Assess all related risks by conducting financial researches
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
Leads timely and accurate preparation of all tax returns and other information as required by governing bodies
- Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs by collecting operational data
Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Responsible for oversight of day-to-day Finance and Accounting Operations (including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fixed Assets, Payroll Processing, and Monthly Reconciliations) to ensure accurate and timely financial information with appropriate internal controls
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (Master's degree is an advantage)- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of 5 years successful and strong background in Financial Management, Budget Development, and Oversight
- High level knowledge of GAAP for non-profit accounting
Strong critical thinking and creative problem solving skills- Highly motivated and highly organized, and able to juggle competing priorities
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment in maintaining the confidentiality of financial information
Applicant must be willing to work in Kapitolyo, Pasig City
