Job Summary
Responsible in developing and providing effective professional insurance and risk management consulting services to the existing and prospective clients of Benefit Lines Department, including but not limited to HMO, Travel Insurance, Life, Group and Personal Accident Insurance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients;
Provides special guidance and assistance on various benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.
Maintains contact in person, and by phone or mail, with Providers, HR representatives, employees and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all enrollees.
Serves as key client liaison for documentation requests, such as certificates, IDs, additions, deletions, billings, posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
Gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with the technical unit.
Prepares Client service plans, client calls, minutes of the meeting and conducts sales calls and attends to clients corporate meetings, events such as Wellness Day, Orientations , APE, among others.
Coordinate negotiation with Providers and Clients APE scheduling of accounts.
Gathers and analyzes data and other convincing presentation materials tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
Ensures the prompt issuance and releasing of Health cards to assureds to avoid problems in case of availments/hospitalization.
Responsible for sending out policies, endorsements along with the statement of accounts/credit notes to the concerned business units.
Effective and efficient collection/reconciliation of accounts as well as initiating remittance of payment to Insurer.
Timely renewal of existing accounts, actively monitors expiring policies and preparation of renewal notices.
Prepares management reporting requirement such as accounts receivable, production reports, claims reports and other statistical requests as needed.
Maintenance of Client information, files such as transmittals, communication with the clients, AR,PR , Service Plans (See attached sample of Client Service Plan) etc.. When applicable, may also need to work directly with client team to ensure that all work is performed effectively and correctly.
Maintains strict confidentiality in regard to sensitive materials that incumbent may come across.
Attends to claims concerns of assigned accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of a 4-year course.
Passed the General Insurance course
Proficient in any Productivity tool and with communication skills both in verbal and written
At least 1 year experience in insurance lines such as but not limited to Life, HMO, Personal Accident, TPA
