Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing processes- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations
Perform Financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and budget planning
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions- Assist in the development and implementation of Accounting policies, Procedures, and Internal controls to maintain data integrity and safeguard company assets
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and assisting with their professional development
Support external audits and tax preparation processes, providing necessary documentation, and explanations- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined accounting practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
At least 5 years of experience- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is preferred
Knowledge in Cost Accountant and in Quickbooks and Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably in a remote or virtual work environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, Financial accounting principles, and Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Experience with Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Familiarity with tax regulations and experience with tax preparation is a plus- Fluency in reading and writing the Korean language is a plus
